MedPharm employees celebrated a private opening of $4m expansion of laboratory facility in Durham, NC

MedPharm, the leader in topical and transdermal drug delivery contract services, has celebrated the opening of its newly expanded facility in Durham NC, in the heart of Research Triangle Park.

The $4 million investment has tripled the company’s existing footprint in the US and creates space for over 100 new, highly skilled scientific positions. The laboratory expansion includes new pre-formulation / formulation development services, analytical, histology and microbiology suites enabling MedPharm to offer a broader range of services to its customers.

Unique to the organization, the new facility has a dedicated innovation laboratory for custom development of performance testing models and systems. This initiative means that the company can continue its pioneering approach to solving project-specific problems for its customers and stay at the forefront of the latest scientific breakthroughs and technology.
